Study in China
Scholarships, engineering strength and the world’s second-largest economy.
China offers more government scholarships to international students than almost any other country, plus world-class engineering and business programmes. Universities increasingly teach in English, and graduates enter a job market of 1.4 billion people.
Why students choose China
- Scholarship culture: Chinese Government Scholarships (CSC), provincial scholarships and university scholarships can cover tuition, accommodation and a living stipend.
- Engineering and tech strength: from AI to high-speed rail, Chinese universities sit at the frontier of applied technology.
- Career leverage: Mandarin plus an engineering or business degree is a powerful combination for anyone targeting global trade, logistics or manufacturing.
- Affordable living: $300 to $600 a month covers most student cities comfortably.

The visa route from Nigeria
X1 student visa route: after the admission letter and JW201/JW202 form, you apply for the X visa at the Chinese embassy and convert to a residence permit after arrival. Some universities apply extra document verification for Nigerian applicants; we prepare you for that in advance.
A strong proof of funds and source of funds explanation is where most visa applications fail. That is exactly what our guide The Complete Guide To Prepare A Proof of Funds And Source of Funds Explanation Letter solves, and our team walks every client through it.
